Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. in the Philippines seeks a Failure Analysis/Reliability Inspector to collect samples for the Reliability Monitor Program, perform visual inspections and electrical tests for qualification, and support the Failure Analysis engineer with sample prep, microscope inspection, and electrical testing.

Qualifications

• Computer literate, basic mathematical computations for calculations and unit conversions.

• Experience in Quality Assurance or Reliability inspection is a plus.
• Trainable and keen to details.
• Flexible and willing to work beyond regular hours, including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

Failure Analysis/Reliability Inspector who shall collect samples for scheduled Reliability Monitor Program (RMP), performs visual inspections and electrical tests of submitted samples for qualification (QTP), Reliability studies (RRST), and RMPs.

Main Responsibilities

• Collects samples for scheduled Reliability Monitor Program (RMP), performs visual inspections and electrical tests of submitted samples for qualification (QTP), Reliability studies (RRST), and RMPs. Provides updates on all Reliability activities.
• Provides legwork support to the Failure Analysis engineer, such as sample preparation, microscope inspection, electrical testing.

Requirements

• Preferably graduate of a 2-year technical course
• At least 6 months work experience in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment. Experience in Quality Assurance or Reliability inspection is a plus.
• Computer literate, demonstrates proficiency in basic mathematical computations (for calculations and unit conversions).
• Trainable and keen to details
• Flexible and willing to work beyond regular hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, as operational requirements demand.
