About the role

Electrical engineers create detailed designs for electrical systems, circuits, and components using engineering principles and computer-assisted design software. They develop innovative solutions for power generation, telecommunications, electronics, and industrial applications, ensuring systems are functional, sustainable, and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components using engineering principles and computer-assisted design software

• Conduct thorough testing of electrical equipment and systems to verify performance, safety, and compliance with regulations

• Supervise the installation, construction, and maintenance of electrical systems

• Ensure projects meet design specifications, safety codes, and operational standards

• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and reports

• Document design processes, testing results, and maintenance procedures

• Identify and resolve issues in electrical systems, components, or equipment through systematic analysis

• Estimate material, labor, and construction costs and support budgeting

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise or train junior engineers and technicians

• Ensure all designs and installations adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements
