Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to perform maintenance and repairs at our Batangas site. You will install utility connections for production equipment, support safety, and supervise contractor activities as needed.

You will read plans and drawings, apply electrical wiring standards, and contribute to small improvement projects to keep mechanical systems reliable. RO/DI and wastewater experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Mechanical System Installer (Aircon, Plumbing, Ducting, Piping).
• Valid TESDA NCII certificate is required.
• Ability to read plans and drawings.
• Background in facilities equipment maintenance tasks.
• Strong familiarity with mechanical installation in construction environments.
• Capable of supervising contractor/third‑party activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs for the facility.
• Install utility connections for production equipment (compressed air piping, exhaust ducts, air ducts, aircon, water lines).
• Back up facility operations and maintenance as needed.
• Assist and supervise contractor/third‑party activity.
• Conduct safety risk assessments before and after work.
• Implement minor repair works on facility equipment and building maintenance.
• Lead small improvement projects to enhance mechanical systems.
• Monitor facility equipment conditions on a regular basis.
• Possess knowledge of electrical wiring to standards.
• Experience with RO/DI and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Troubleshoot Mist Eliminator, Scrubber, and Boiler systems.

Job Requirements

• Will be assigned as Utility Connection Installer for production equipments speficially the Compressed Air Piping, Exhaust Duct, Air Duct, Aircon System Installation, Water Lines, etc.
• Will be a backed up personnel to Facility Operation and Maintenance thus a knowledge and famility on this subject is also required.
• Assist and Supervises contractor/third party activity
• With high knoweldge on Safety Risk Assessement and Control prior to start of work and after work.
• Will implement minor repair works related to Facility Equipment and Building Maintenance.
• Will implement small improvement projects of the plant to improve mechanical system.
• Will also be assigned to to monitor and check Facility Equipment Conditions on a regular basis.
• With knowledge and can perform Electrical Wiring Works based on standards.
• Experience in RO/DI and Wastewater Treatment Facility.
• Can troubleshoot Mist Eliminator, Scrubber and Boiler System.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Graduate of any 4 year or vocational course for TESDA or reputable Technical Schools. With minimum of 5 year experience as Mechanical System Installer such as Aircon, Plumbing, Ducting, Piping Works, Metal Fabricator, Welding Works, etc. With valid TESDA NCII Certificate. With strong background in construction works as a Mechanical Installer and can be able to read plans and drawings. With Familirity in Facilities Equipment Maintenance tasks.
