CGI (PHILIPPINES) INC. in Taguig City, Metro Manila, is seeking a Facilities Support Engineer in a full-time capacity.

The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing facility infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, electrical plans, and safety systems to support a productive workforce. The ideal candidate holds an electrical engineering degree (PRC licensed) with 2–3 years of building operations experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with valid PRC license.
• 2–3 years of experience in engineering operations, repair and maintenance in office buildings.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems and Data Center facility equipment (UPS, PACU, FDAS).
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, door access and fire safety systems and coordinate with Building Admin and service providers.
• Plan repairs for damaged facility systems, civil works, furniture, and fixtures.
• Supervise the Housekeeping Service Provider and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages.
• Assist with major renovations and coordinate with building personnel; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support government inspections and re-certifications (PEZA, LGU, Fire, DOLE).
• Review electrical plans and provide recommendations for rehabilitation and safety of facility systems.

About the role

CGI (PHILIPPINES) INC. is seeking a Facilities Support Engineer to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our facility infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across our organization. As a Facilities Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical management, maintenance, and support of our building systems, utilities, and related infrastructure. This role is essential to ensuring that our facilities operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively, directly supporting the productivity and wellbeing of our workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that preventive maintenance works on electrical systems, mechanical systems, door access control systems, and fire safety systems are regularly performed to achieve an efficient, safe, and effective building operation. Serve as the first point of contact for the company when it comes to coordination with the Building Admin and Third-Party Equipment Service Providers. Expected to resolve issues promptly to avoid disruption to the operation.
• Plan out the activities, schedule, and monitoring of the completion of repairs on damaged facility systems, civil works, furniture, and fixtures.
• Supervise the overall effectiveness of the Housekeeping Service Provider based on the established Service Level Agreement. Responsible for monitoring the most efficient min-max level of supplies and materials to ensure stocks will not run out.
• Assist with major project renovations and coordination with building personnel and other departments. Ensures that site is compliant to all regulatory requirements from the LGU and other related government agencies.
• Assist government personnel (PEZA Engineer, Municipal Engineer, Bureau of Fire Protection, DOLE Inspector) in conducting annual building inspections and re-certification.
• Has a good level of understanding of electrical plans/single-line diagram. Provide recommendations and execution plans on areas that require rehabilitation/improvement to ensure the safety and integrity of the facility structure and systems.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering - with valid PRC license
• 2 to 3 years of experience in engineering operations, repair, and maintenance in office building
• Good technical knowledge of building electrical systems and Data Center facility equipment (UPS, PACU, FDAS)
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Skills / Certifications:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Good communication skills both written and verbal in the English language
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under less supervision
• Good interpersonal skills
