Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Taguig is seeking a Facilities Engineer to ensure reliable operation of building systems within a PEZA-registered BPO environment. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, manage equipment and vendors, and support PEZA processes.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, 3 years in facilities management in PEZA settings, and strong budgeting, documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Registered Electrical Engineer is preferred.
• 3 years facilities management experience in a PEZA-registered BPO environment recommended.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Experience managing technicians, service providers and maintenance vendors.
• Familiarity with PEZA compliance and processing requirements.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and cost monitoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Monitor the operational status of critical equipment and support business continuity initiatives.
• Respond promptly to facility-related incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Supervise technicians and monitor technical consumables and inventory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, equipment documentation, and compliance records.
• Support financial analysis, cost monitoring, budgeting, and expense tracking for facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with PEZA requirements and assist with PEZA-related processes, including Farm-In and Farm-Out transactions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to address facility requirements and operational concerns.

About The Role

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and continuous operation of building facilities within a PEZA-registered BPO environment. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manages building systems and critical equipment, coordinates with vendors and contractors, supports compliance requirements, and ensures operational readiness to meet business needs.
