Job summary

Makati (Sports) Club, Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the club's facilities operations and oversee the maintenance team.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will ensure reliable upkeep of club facilities and drive preventive maintenance programs. You will supervise day-to-day activities, develop schedules, coordinate with vendors, monitor the budget, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a maintenance supervisor or similar role, preferably in the sports, hospitality, or facilities management industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical personnel.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance activities of the club, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to proactively address equipment and facility issues.
• Manage and oversee the maintenance team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks effectively.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee maintenance, repair, and installation projects.
• Monitor and report on the club's maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to identify and implement process improvements, innovations, and best practices in maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
