Job Requirements

Job Description

Community Development Group (CDG) is the learning arm of Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc (RAFI) that provides excellent and relevant learning engagements to ensure that the community leaders and workers of RAFI are equipped and enabled to elevate and sustain the wellbeing of their communities.

Kool Adventure Camp (KAC) is the first and only fully dedicated Adventure Education Center in the Philippines.

The Facilitator is responsible for designing and delivering learning experiences through an adventure education approach. This includes facilitating ropes courses at Kool Adventure Camp (KAC) and leading other experiential learning activities both on-site and off-site, ensuring participants engage in safe and impactful learning. The role also involves serving as a course manager, overseeing logistics coordination, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality camp experience.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Designs and customizes training programs using adventure education, based on Training Needs Assessments (TNA).
  • Develops evaluation tools and manages pre- and post-engagement activities.
  • Facilitates learning sessions and serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME), including during weekends or holidays if needed.
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, including LGUs and SMEs.
  • Handles logistics, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensures quality standards, safety protocols, and confidentiality throughout the engagement.
  • Manages participant registration and monitors engagement effectiveness.
  • Conducts internal staff training and reviews safety-related materials.
  • Supports emergency operations as assigned (e.g., planning coordinator during EOC activation).

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably Psychology, Education, Human Resource, or its equivalent. Experience in facilitation, training, and community development is an advantage.
  • Interested in Training & Development of individuals or groups. Exposure to Experience with Learning and Development for adults or youth. Aptitude for the Outdoors.
  • Willing to be assigned in Balamban, Cebu.
