Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking an External Audit – Senior Associate to design, test and execute audit work programs for US clients under supervision. The role covers planning, design, execution and presentation using cloud-based tools.

Responsibilities include auditing plans, supervising staff, ensuring adherence to client methodology, and mentoring Associates. A strong English writer with CPA or US GAAP exposure is preferred; travel for training is possible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of External Audit experience.
• Big 4 background in auditing.
• US GAAP exposure and experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• CPA licensure is a plus.
• Advanced writing skills and presentation skills are expected.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical pronouncements.

Responsibilities

• Plans the audit, designs and executes the audit plan, consolidates findings and financial reporting.
• Reviews and supervises staff work to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Ensures deliverables follow the client’s audit methodology and preferences.
• Pays attention to detail and understands impact on client experience.
• Participates in training and coaching of associates/staff with timely feedback.
• Demonstrates ability to lead, conduct future team learnings and recommend process improvements.
• Pays attention to detail and understands how timeliness affects client experience.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
