Job summary

Recruitify_HR in Makati City is seeking an Audit Manager to lead client audit engagements, planning, execution, and completion of financial audits and assurance services for diverse clients.

The role requires CPA, 6+ years external audit with at least 3 years in supervision, strong audit methodologies, and excellent communication across all levels. Hybrid work and dayshift arrangements offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead client audit engagements including planning, execution, direction, and completion of financial audits and assurance services.
• Supervise engagement planning with risk assessment, audit procedures, staffing plans, and coordination with specialists.
• Review and release deliverables such as financial statements, tax returns, and audit reports; ensure timely sign-off.
• Maintain client relationships and update on accounting standards developments affecting their business.
• Manage engagement financials: budgets, WIP, billing, collections, and variance recognition.
• Provide timely performance feedback and drive staff evaluations after each engagement.
• Assist partners in pursuing new clients and preparing proposals, and collect receivables.

Job description

Role OverviewThe Audit Manager works closely with the Senior Manager/Audit Partner in leading client audit engagements, covering planning, execution, direction, and completion of financial audits and assurance services for a portfolio of international and local clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients; deliver high-quality audit and assurance services including preparation and review of audit plans and work.
• Supervise engagement planning including risk assessment, audit procedures, staffing plans, and coordination with specialists and other offices.
• Review and release deliverables including financial statements, income tax returns, and audit reports; ensure timely completion and sign-off.
• Maintain strong client relationships; keep clients informed of developments in accounting standards and areas affecting their businesses.
• Manage engagement financials including budgets, WIP, billing, collections, and variance recognition.
• Provide timely performance feedback to in-charges and staff; accomplish and review Performance Review Reports after every engagement.
• Assist partners in pursuing new clients, preparing proposals, and collecting receivables.
