Cognizant is looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our Philippines team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, Assembler, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related tools.

The ideal candidate has 3–17 years of mainframe experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment. Banking knowledge is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• 3–17 years of mainframe development experience.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, Assembler, JCL, CICS, DB2 and other mainframe languages.
• Experience with mainframe systems such as z/OS, IMS and VSAM.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications and systems.
• Provide guidance to junior developers and collaborate with analysts, QA, and PM teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in mainframe development.
