Job summary

PrintYo is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer with strong print production and pre-press knowledge to join the team full-time. You will handle artwork from design to print for commercial printing, large-format signage, packaging and more.

Collaborating with internal teams, customers and printing partners, you will ensure artwork is print-ready, accurately color-matched and produced correctly. The role emphasizes accuracy and hands-on production skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in graphic design, preferably in printing, signage, packaging or print-production.
• Strong understanding of commercial printing and pre-press processes.
• Experience communicating directly with printers or print-production teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating real-world print projects.

• Design/use of AI - brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, booklets, stickers, labels, packaging, signage and other marketing materials.

• Create production-ready PDFs with correct layers, embedded/outlined fonts and appropriate export settings.

About the role

PrintYo is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with strong print production and pre-press knowledge to join the team full-time. This is not purely a creative graphic design role. The role requires someone who understands the complete design-to-print process and can confidently prepare artwork for commercial printing, large-format signage, stickers, labels, packaging and other printed products. You will work with the internal team, customers and printing partners to ensure artwork is accurate, print-ready and produced correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Create and prepare professional print-ready artwork.
• Design/use of AI - brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, booklets, stickers, labels, packaging, signage and other marketing materials.
• Prepare customer-supplied artwork for production.
• Check artwork dimensions, resolution, bleed, trim, margins and colour setup before printing.
• Create and manage cut contour, die-cut, kiss-cut, perforation and crease lines.
• Set up artwork for digital, offset and large-format printing.
• Work with CMYK, Pantone and spot colours and understand colour matching requirements.
• Prepare files involving white ink, transparent media and specialty printing where required.
• Create production-ready PDFs with correct layers, embedded/outlined fonts and appropriate export settings.
• Communicate directly with printing companies and suppliers regarding specifications and production requirements.

About you

• Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a printing, signage, packaging or print-production company.
• Strong understanding of commercial printing and pre-press processes.
• Previous experience communicating directly with printers or print-production teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating real-world print projects.
• Ability to identify and correct artwork problems before they reach production.
