Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center Manila seeks an Audit Associate to join a diverse client portfolio and support financial statement audits. You will engage with client projects, learn within our Assurance practice, and contribute to audit processes on a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• At least 1 year of external audit experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS and GAAP.
• Assist in preparation and review of financial reports for client compliance.
• Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate internal controls and risks.

As an Audit Associate at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will engage in financial statement audits, contributing to client projects and developing your skills within our Assurance practice. • Conducting financial statement audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Assisting in the preparation and review of financial reports and disclosures to support client compliance with accounting standards
• Applying auditing methodologies to evaluate internal controls and identify potential risks
• Collaborating with client management to gather necessary financial data and documentation for audit processes
• Utilizing data analysis and interpretation skills to assess financial trends and inform audit findings
• Engaging in the documentation of audit processes and findings to maintain accurate records
• Supporting the team in monitoring and analyzing financial transactions to detect discrepancies

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in the following field of study: Accounting
• At least 1 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
