Job summary

IQVIA in Taguig is seeking an experienced ETL/Data Engineer to onboard datasets from multiple sources, configure ETL scripts, and create new database instances. You will manage SSIS/Snowflake deployments across Dev, Demo, and Live environments.

The role requires strong SQL, Excel data analysis, and GitLab basics, plus collaboration with stakeholders worldwide, QA of data integrity, and eligibility for mid or night shifts in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/IS or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to manipulate/retrieve data with SQL syntax.
• Experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, GitLab, SSIS, and related tools.
• Proficient written and verbal communication for stakeholder interactions.

Responsibilities

• Execute dataset onboarding from multiple sources, primarily CDD/Data IQ.
• Configure and run ETL scripts; create new ETL database instances.
• Perform post-load analysis comparing row counts with prior releases.
• Provision ETL databases across Dev, Demo, and Live environments.
• Assign appropriate roles and manage permissions.
• Reference database creation, configuration, and Snowflake/SQL loading steps.
• Backup and restore reference databases across environments.
• Coordinate integration scripts in Snowflake (Dev) and SQL servers (Demo/Live).
• Apply dataset permissions and coordinate with HDE Support for access.
• Conduct QA in Dev/Demo to ensure data integrity before live deployment.
• Define/update documentation to maintain database quality.
• Serve as escalation point for issues; drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders globally on ongoing projects.
