Job summary

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking a data quality specialist to drive ETL testing and data validation across multiple systems. You will build Python-based automation for ETL checks, UI testing with Playwright, and API testing. Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams and CI/CD integrations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, SQL proficiency, and experience with BI validation and cloud-based ETL pipelines. Agile/Scrum practices are used throughout development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong ETL/testing foundation.
• 3–5 years in ETL testing and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on Python programming experience.
• Experience with Playwright for UI automation.
• Strong SQL skills including joins and window functions.
• API testing and automation experience.
• Familiarity with Apache JMeter for performance testing.
• Knowledge of AWS services is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of data migration testing and BI validation.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Validate data between source and target systems (DB2, Oracle, MySQL).
• Perform data reconciliation, completeness, and transformation validation.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
• Test ETL pipelines across Landing -> Raw -> Derived -> Mart.
• Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
• Automate ETL validation (data comparison, counts, schema).
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and execute UI automation scripts using Python + Playwright.
• Test REST APIs using Postman / Python requests / REST Assured.
