Job summary

Pioneer Specialty Building Systems, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Assistant to support drawing, estimating, and material BOM analysis using AutoCAD. You will maintain engineering files and assist in shop drawing preparations for architect approval and jobsite reference.

The role requires in-person work in Quezon City, Philippines, with a permanent, full-time commitment. Bachelor’s degree preferred, with health and life insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to draw and estimate using AutoCAD with attention to accuracy.
• Review drawings and prepare material estimates for production and planning.
• Coordinate with QA/QC Head for shop drawings and specifications.

Job description

Responsible for assisting the QA/QC Head in drawing, estimating, analyzing prospective projects, bill of materials using AutoCad and maintain drawing files.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using AutoCad properly draws components and assemblies, perform tolerance stickups of mating parts and assemblies, and maintain engineering files to company’s standards.

• Review engineering drawings and prepare estimate of areas and bills of materials for production and material planning.

• Coordinate with the QA/QC Head for details and specifications in preparation for shop drawings of all on-going projects for Architect’s approval to be used as a reference at the jobsite.

• Prepare drawing possible details on the different systems being offered by the company needed by the SBU Head.

• Prepare as-built plan of on-going and accomplished projects to be submitted to customer/Architect.
