Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineer (Preventive Maintenance) to monitor, troubleshoot, and repair production and utility equipment. You will gather specifications and data to build preventive maintenance programs and equipment histories, and perform predictive maintenance with trend analysis.

The role requires PLC/motor control knowledge, experience in automation concepts, and a focus on safety and efficiency. Location is Canlubang, Laguna, full onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related courses.
• Open to fresh graduates with relevant OJT experience (robotics or automation) or capstone project related to PLCs.
• Knowledgeable in PLC programming, motor controls, automation systems, and control engineering concepts.
• Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, bearing maintenance, and condition monitoring.
• Must possess good communication skills, high stress tolerance, and the ability to lift at least 20kg.
• Must be willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna (Full Onsite).

Responsibilities

• Monitors, troubleshoots, and conducts repairs and preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Provides mechanical technical services for installation of production, utility, and support equipment.
• Gathers equipment specifications and compiles data for preventive maintenance programs and equipment histories.
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and prepares benchmarking analyses.
• Performs corrective maintenance, analyzes failures, installs mechanical equipment, and conducts load testing.
• Implements continuous improvement to increase production line efficiency.
• Ensures operating systems are in optimal condition and prioritizes safety to prevent Lost Time Accidents.

Job description

Title: Equipment Engineer (Preventive Maintenance)

The Equipment Engineer is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs and preventive maintenance activities.

• Provides mechanical technical services necessary for the installation of production, utility, and other support equipment.
• Gathers equipment specifications such as model, serial number, power rating, etc., and compiles all necessary data that will be used in the preparation of preventive maintenance programs and equipment histories.
• Conducts regular preventive and predictive maintenance, including condition monitoring, and prepares graphical presentations for benchmarking and analysis.
• Performs corrective maintenance, technical analysis of equipment failures, installation of mechanical equipment, and executes load testing, ensuring compliance with company rules, SOPs, and maintenance program enhancements.
• Implements and/or provides suggestions for continuous improvement of equipment in the production line to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Ensure that all operating systems are in tip-top operating condition.
• Prioritizes safety in their area, ensuring the safety of personnel, materials, products, equipment, tools, and other company properties to prevent Lost Time Accidents.
