Amber Studio in the Philippines is seeking a talented Concept Artist or Illustrator to join the project pitch team. The role focuses on creating engaging 2D visuals that fascinate and inform clients while collaborating with designers and art directors.

The ideal candidate has experience in illustration or concept art, strong skills with 2D tools, and a solid portfolio. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and contribute to diverse gaming-related projects.

Qualifications

Illustration training with color theory, composition, art history, life drawing, character design.
Experience in illustration or concept art for games or media.

Responsabilités

Create 2D illustrations and concept art aligned with artistic/technical direction.
Develop visuals for characters, environments, game objects, vehicles, gameplay screens.
Understand and apply gameplay constraints to visual design.
Apply aesthetic and graphic design principles for the project.
Plan and time-estimate your work independently.
Communicate with Game Designers, Graphic Artists, and Art Directors.
Use traditional and digital methods to draw/paint in 2D.
Proficient with Photoshop, Maya, Painter, etc.
Interpret briefs and meet deadlines.
Incorporate client feedback and refine work accordingly.
Research topics and gather references for designs.
