Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Specialist to secure and maintain environmental permits, ensure compliance with Philippine environmental laws, and support the company’s environmental compliance programs across project development and operations.
You will coordinate with DENR, EMB, LLDA, LGUs, and environmental consultants; monitor permit conditions, renewals, and site inspections; and act as the regulatory liaison with government agencies and project teams.
The Environmental Specialist is responsible for securing and maintaining environmental permits, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations, and supporting the implementation of the company's environmental compliance programs. The role involves coordinating with regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to facilitate timely permit acquisition and regulatory compliance throughout project development and operations.
Environmental Permitting & Regulatory Compliance:
Prepare, process, and monitor applications for Environmental Compliance Certificates (ECC), Certificates of Non-Coverage (CNC), and other environmental permits and clearances.
Ensure compliance with DENR, EMB, LLDA, LGUs, and other regulatory agencies' environmental requirements.
Monitor permit conditions, validity, and renewal schedules to ensure continuous compliance.
Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies, environmental consultants, and project stakeholders regarding environmental permitting and compliance.
Coordinate site inspections, technical meetings, and submission of regulatory documents.
Facilitate responses to agency comments, deficiencies, and compliance requirements.
Conduct site inspections and environmental assessments prior to permit application.
Identify compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
Support environmental monitoring activities as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Forestry, Biology, Geology, or a related field.
Experience in environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, or environmental consultancy is an advantage.
Knowledge of Philippine environmental laws, DENR regulations, and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) System.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, coordination, analytical, and technical writing skills.
Willing to travel for site inspections and government transactions.
