Job summary

WD is seeking a Technician I, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering, to ensure reliable and safe operation of production equipment through preventive maintenance, inspections, and careful repairs. You will diagnose issues, calibrate and test systems, and maintain rigorous documentation while supporting operations and engineering teams.

You will collaborate with maintenance and production staff, learn to evaluate equipment performance data, and contribute to reducing downtime.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Computer Technology, Industrial Technology or related field.
Fresh graduates of any technology-related course are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on equipment systems to identify potential issues before they escape.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using specialized diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components while maintaining detailed technical documentation.
Calibrate and test equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze equipment performance data and implement improvements.
Maintain organized maintenance logs and equipment records for tracking and compliance purposes.
Adhere to all safety protocols when working with industrial equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment failures and emergency maintenance requests to minimize production disruptions.
Assist in evaluating and procuring new equipment and replacement parts.
Provide technical support and guidance to operations staff on equipment usage and maintenance best practices.
