Job summary

Allegro is seeking an Associate Industrial Engineer to support process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting. This entry-level role, under direct supervision, applies basic industrial engineering concepts to collect data, analyze processes, and support Lean initiatives.

You will conduct time studies, map processes, and help maintain documentation while collaborating with senior engineers to drive waste reduction and efficiency in the production line.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree. No prior professional experience is required.
• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing principles and an interest in process improvement.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assists in process improvement projects by conducting time studies, creating process maps, and collecting production data.
• Gathers and compiles data for analysis, helping to identify waste and opportunities for improvement in the manufacturing line.
• Supports the implementation of Lean tools, such as 5S, standard work, and visual management, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Helps develop and maintain documentation for new and existing processes.
