Job summary

MRI Software is hiring a Technical Consultant to drive design, implementation, and optimisation of enterprise‑level software solutions for client environments. The role requires leading discovery sessions, delivering scalable architectures, and guiding deployments with a customer‑first approach.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, support pre‑sales efforts, mentor junior staff, and continuously improve delivery practices while staying current with industry trends and technology advances.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in technical consulting, systems implementation, or software development.
• Proven ability to lead client-facing technical engagements and translate business needs into effective solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing complex software solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of relational databases — SQL Server or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to understand goals and requirements.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions for client environments.
• Provide expert guidance on architecture, integrations, data flows, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, support, and sales to deliver outcomes.
• Manage technical delivery across the project lifecycle from planning to handover.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices.
