Job summary

BDO IT is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead and support the development of its Solution Architecture. You will work with enterprise architects and delivery teams to ensure architecture aligns with guardrails, patterns and standards, guiding projects from current to target state.

You will also create reusable solution patterns, assess gaps, and manage technical debt while advising on risks and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Understand, apply and advocate BDO's Enterprise Architecture guardrails including principles, patterns, standards and non-functional requirements.
• Provide solution consultancy to ensure alignment with architecture strategy across projects.
• Experience with architecture governance and capability to guide delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand, apply and advocate BDO's Enterprise Architecture guardrails and standards.
• Create and maintain solution patterns for reusability across use cases.
• Determine target state solutions from current and transition states to meet business outcomes.
• Recommend solutions and processes to improve operational efficiency based on gap analysis.
• Assess current state solutions to identify technical debt and guide transitions to new technologies.
• Provide solution consultancy to application and infrastructure owners within projects.
• Present and seek approval of solution architecture through defined channels.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, program managers, and delivery leads to align with strategy.
• Ensure implementation aligns with defined solution architecture and manage risks.
