Job summary

Robinsons Handyman Inc. in Manila is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to manage daily maintenance and repair of building systems in our retail locations.

You will lead engineering staff and contractors to ensure electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems run safely and efficiently. The role involves planning preventive maintenance, supervising on-site fixes, coordinating with vendors, supporting store openings and renovations, and ensuring compliance with safety rules and company

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Licensed Engineer (RME or REE) preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in building/facility maintenance or engineering, preferably in the retail, commercial, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
• Experience supervising technical teams and coordinating third-party contractors.
• Willing to travel to various store locations and work on-call for urgent maintenance concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering staff and contractors across retail stores or facilities.
• Ensure proper operation of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other key systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance and repair schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections to spot and fix safety or maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment servicing or upgrades.
• Provide technical support for store openings, renovations, and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, environmental laws, and company standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment history.
• Help the Facilities Manager with budgets, cost estimates, and reports.
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and supervise on-site fixes when needed.
