Job summary

Manami Resort in Sipalay seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering and maintenance team on-site. You will ensure all facilities, utilities, and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance and addressing urgent repairs to minimize downtime.

You will also train staff, maintain records, and support sustainability initiatives while upholding safety and environmental standards in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience; supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in a hotel or resort is preferred but not required.
• PCO Certificate/License is an advantage.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the engineering and maintenance team.
• Assign and monitor maintenance tasks; conduct inspections.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and address urgent repairs.
• Support guest comfort, sustainability initiatives, and safety/environmental standards.
• Train and mentor team members; maintain records.
• Support continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Role Description

The Engineering Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Manami Resort in Sipalay. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring all resort facilities, utilities, and equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. Responsibilities include assigning and monitoring maintenance tasks, conducting regular inspections, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and addressing urgent repairs to minimize downtime. The Engineering Supervisor works closely with other departments to support guest comfort, sustainability initiatives, and the overall quality of the luxury resort experience, while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role also involves training and mentoring team members, maintaining records, and supporting continuous improvement of engineering processes.

• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• PCO (Pollution Control Officer) Certificate/License is an advantage.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to be assigned in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
