Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking an experienced facilities supervisor for its Megatower mall location in the Philippines. The role focuses on supervising MEPFS equipment operations, planning repairs, maintaining systems for safe and efficient mall operations, and ensuring compliance with government standards.

You will lead engineering initiatives, monitor utilities usage, enforce safety and housekeeping policies, and mentor engineering staff through performance management and training programs.

• Oversee mall engineering operations by managing MEPFS systems, repairs, and maintenance to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
• Lead project planning and execution of engineering initiatives, including proposal development, contractor bidding, and project implementation.
• Ensure effective utilities management through regular monitoring, analysis, and optimization of electricity and water consumption.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety by enforcing housekeeping policies, conducting inspections, and addressing security or equipment concerns.
• Develop and support engineering staff through supervision, performance management, and participation in technical training programs.

Job Description:

Responsible in the supervision of the mall’s equipment operations in order to provide the necessary utilities for the operation of the mall. Involves planning and implementation of repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS equipment and the related systems for the safe and efficient operations of the mall. Ensures compliance of the Mall (establishment) in the standards set forth by the government agencies and local government units.
