Job summary

Energy Development Corporation in the Philippines invites a Contracts Manager to oversee major upgrade, modification, and maintenance projects across Civil/Structural, Piping/Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation.

You will prepare contract technical requirements, manage materials and services, and monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with designs, specifications, quality, and required permits.

• Prepare contract technical requirements and manage materials for major upgrades, modifications, and maintenance across Civil/Structural, Piping/Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Monitors and manages contractor performance to ensure compliance with approved design, specifications, standards and quality, as well as permits and insurances.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of the contract technical requirements and management of materials and services for major upgrade, modification, and/or maintenance of the Civil/Structural, Piping/Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation activities (outside the scope of the Facility O&M) and special projects (e.g., corrective works, Landslide Mitigation Measures (LMM), FCRS Hook Ups (CSPMEI), Building Facilities, Well Drilling, Testing and Operations Support Services).
• Monitors and manages the performance of contractors, and ensures contractor compliance to the approved design, specifications, standards and quality of workmanship as well as the necessary performance security, warranty security, permits and insurances as specified in the terms of the contract.
