Job summary

Emerson Measurement Solutions is seeking an Engineer I, Technical Support to deliver technical sales and application support for Rosemount DP Flow products. You will assist project engineers and inside sales teams, perform order sizing, and help prevent production redlights while ensuring quality on booked orders.

The role requires a Engineering degree, 1.5+ years in technical support, and familiarity with Oracle, CRM, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 1.5+ years of technical support experience related to process automation, control, and optimization.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales and application support for Rosemount DP Flow and perform order sizing.
• Support Project Engineers, Inside Sales Engineers, and other teams in sizing processes.
• Perform order quality audits on booked Rosemount orders.
• Identify and assign Redlight to book orders and prevent manufacturing delays.

Job description

If you are an Engineer I, Technical Supportprofessional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to demonstrate your technical proficiency and skills in providing excellent customer service to Emerson as a member of the Measurement Solutions organization. You will provide technical sales and application support to Emerson Measurement Solutions by performing order sizing for DP Flow Rosemount Measurement products and resolving production redlight.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Provide technical sales and application support to Emerson Automation Solutions Rosemount by performing order sizing for Rosemount Measurement (DP Flow) and resolving Production Redlight.
• Provide technical support and act as a resource person to Project Engineers (PE), Project Execution Lead (PEL), Inside Sales Engineers (ISE), Business Administrators (BA), Manufacturing Engineers, and Technical Support Administrators (TSA) in terms of the product sizing process.
• Perform order quality audits on booked orders for Rosemount products.
• Identify and assign Redlight to book orders and prevent manufacturing Redlight.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering courses.
• At least 1.5 years of technical support experience related to process automation, control, and optimization technologies and services.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Excel.
• Intermediate knowledge of instrumentation products and engineering principles, especially with process measurement products and principles.
• Intermediate knowledge of business tools such as Oracle, Toolkit, Product Advisor (PA), CRM, SSRS, Rosewire, Engineering Assistant 5, and Engineering Assistant 6.
• Willingness to work on a night shift schedule.
