Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for our production processes. You will review designs, create testing plans, drive PFMEA/PPAP activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product conformance and risk mitigation.
Onsite position based in Tanauan, Batangas. This role requires reading technical drawings, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously.

Quality Engineer develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols. Works with designs and specifications, devises testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of product. Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect. Ensures that projects and process control documents are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts. Identifies and manages risk in product development (primarily utilizing and driving Production Part Approval Process (PAPP) core elements e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.). Develops and implements proactive quality strategies. Performs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action(s). Ensures all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management (e.g. Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance). Designs and implements product engineering changes to satisfy quality issues raised by customers. Supports the development and maintenance of inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance.

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
