AFRY is seeking an analytics-focused Consultant to support energy transition projects for Philippine clients, collaborating with global offices in the APAC region. You will model power systems, analyze market trends, and assist in decarbonisation strategies.

Ideal candidates have strong quantitative skills, English fluency, and experience with data tools like Excel, Python, and SQL. The role offers an international environment and exposure to diverse projects.

Qualifications

• For this role, 2–5 years of relevant experience in analytics and consulting.
• It requires strong numerical and qualitative analysis capabilities with attention to detail.
• Fluent English skills and the ability to communicate clearly in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data modelling tools is essential.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or VBA and energy market understanding is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Gather, analyze, interpret, and present detailed data for electricity sector projects with guidance from senior team members.
• Monitor regulations, market trends, and outlooks in the Philippines electricity market (APAC focus).
• Conduct market research on regulatory updates and market design within the Philippines and APAC.
• Support decarbonisation strategy workstreams and related M&A activities.
• Educate junior team members on power market fundamentals, especially in the Philippines.
• Communicate with clients, respond to requests, and present topics aligned with your tasks.
• Develop and run electricity market models to project long-term dispatch and prices for the Philippines and APAC.
