Qualifications

• Analysts typically have 0–2 years work experience.
• Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis with attention to detail.
• Excellent MS Excel proficiency is required.
• Able to explain complex information in English using MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work well in a project team and a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of Philippines energy market dynamics and PLEXOS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, interpret, and present data related to the electricity sector and energy transition for various projects.
• Develop and execute electricity market models for projecting long-term market dispatch, prices, and demand/supply forecasts for the Philippines and APAC.
• Conduct market research on regulations, trends, and outlooks in the APAC electricity markets.
• Support delivery of strategic advisory on decarbonisation strategy and market design, including M&A activities.
• Collaborate with global AFRY offices and teams while upholding AFRY values: Brave, Devoted, Team Player.
