Job summary

Symbos is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle across GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations. Your role will involve preparing journal entries, variances, and month-end reporting while collaborating with onshore stakeholders.

The position starts with onsite training and transitions to a four-days-onsite/one-day-work-from-home schedule weekly, offering a hybrid work setup and opportunities to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or closely related discipline.
• At least three years of accounting experience with hands-on exposure to full set of accounts.
• Experience across AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations and broader accounting cycle.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle or NetSuite; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting cycle, including GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions and adjustments.
• Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations for month-end reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities within timelines.
• Prepare monthly reports and variance analysis to support review and decision-making.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances.
• Explain financial results to onshore stakeholders and respond to queries.
• Maintain financial controls and contribute to process improvement.
