Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Junior Threat Analyst to join its global threat intelligence team. You will research and report on emerging cyber threats, malware campaigns, and threat actors using OSINT techniques.

In this role you will apply MITRE ATT&CK and the Diamond Model, prepare concise analyst notes and threat intelligence reports, and collaborate with teams in the Philippines, Australia, the UK, and the US. A strong written English style is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence.
• Familiar with OSINT techniques and publicly available sources.
• Ability to produce clear written analysis and reports.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OSINT research to identify emerging threats and threat actors.
• Analyze information from security advisories, feeds, and public sources.
• Support profiling of threat actors, tactics, and attack patterns.
• Apply MITRE ATT&CK and the Diamond Model frameworks.
• Prepare analyst notes, threat intelligence reports, and updates.
• Identify indicators, trends, and security implications.
• Collaborate with global teams across regions and time zones.
• Keep informed about evolving cyber threats and industry developments.
