Job summary

Manulife is seeking an Associate Learning Designer to design, develop, and continuously improve learner-centered experiences. You will work under Learning Designers to apply instructional design principles and branding standards across digital learning assets.

The role emphasizes building professional expertise in learning design, growing business acumen, and managing learning projects with increasing independence.

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with AI-enabled learning design is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and updating of learning solutions using established instructional design principles.
• Develop learning content using approved authoring tools and ensure branding, accessibility, and quality standards.
• Complete assigned tasks within timelines and participate in QA, reviews, and revision cycles.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and maintain professional project interactions.
• Grow readiness for progression to higher-level learning design roles through increased independence and capability.
