Job summary

Thales in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain SIM/eSIM/eSE JavaCard applications and ensure smooth integration with OS builds.

The role requires proficiency in Java/Javacard/VB, a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or a related field, and at least 2 years of software engineering experience. You will work within a collaborative, innovative environment.

SIM/embedded SIM/embedded secure element applications/applets:

• You will participate in the development of new and maintenance of existing SIM/eSIM/eSE javacard applications
• You will participate in the validation of applications over various SIM//eSIM/eSE card OS and integrate in the OS automatic builds
• You will contribute to continuous improvement efforts: product and development methodology improvement (e.g. automatic build/integrations)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Java/Javacard/VB programming languages
• You must have a Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related fields
• You must be a team player

Plus points:

• Knowledge of embedded technology/ecosystem, software security or Javacard
• Has least 2 years of experience as software engineer role
