Job summary

VirtueStaff is hiring an Email Design Specialist to craft marketing emails, promotional layouts, and newsletter templates from client briefs. You’ll work primarily in Figma to build polished assets for women-owned brands in fashion, beauty, and med spa sectors, then hand off clean files to the implementation team.

You should have a strong portfolio of conversion-driven email layouts, sharp visual hierarchy, and ideally experience designing for beauty or DTC retail.

• Strong Figma skills for layout creation and asset export; Illustrator/Canva a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce production-ready design files for the buildout team.
• Organize design files, components, and templates in Figma.
• Incorporate feedback from creative directors to refine concepts quickly.

VirtueStaff is hiring an Email Design Specialist for our client, a boutique digital agency. In this dedicated visual role, you will design marketing emails, promotional campaign layouts, and newsletter templates using client creative briefs. Working primarily in Figma, you will build polished assets for women-owned e-commerce brands, fashion labels, and med spas, then hand off clean files to the implementation team. We are looking for someone with a strong portfolio of conversion-driven email layouts, sharp visual hierarchy skills, and ideally past experience designing for beauty or DTC retail brands.

Responsibilities

• Create visual layouts, header graphics, and modular templates for promotional campaigns and newsletters.
• Interpret creative briefs and client style guides to produce consistent, brand-aligned designs.
• Focus strictly on visual design work without handling campaign scheduling, ESP execution, or coding.
• Scribe, slice, and export production-ready design files for the buildout team.
• Keep design files, component libraries, and master templates organized in Figma.
• Incorporate feedback from creative directors to refine concepts quickly.
• Use Figma features and modern design workflows to keep production efficient.
• Tailor aesthetics across diverse client verticals, including women-owned consumer brands, fashion, beauty, and med spas.

• Portfolio showing modern, conversion-focused email and newsletter designs.
• Strong grasp of graphic design fundamentals: visual hierarchy, typography, mobile layout balance, and effective CTA placement.
• High proficiency in Figma for layout creation and asset export. Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Canva is a plus.
• Ability to turn visual references and brand guidelines into polished, ready-to-use concepts.
• Background supporting e-commerce brands, fashion retailers, beauty companies, or med spa services preferred.
• Solid organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative approach when partnering with strategists and developers.
