Wisc Inc in the Philippines is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to review drawings, interpret specifications, and ensure proper on-site implementation of electrical works in line with the Philippine Electrical Code.
You will conduct site inspections, coordinate with project teams, prepare reports, review submittals, monitor quality, support testing and commissioning, and help maintain as-built documentation while upholding safety standards.
Review and interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure proper implementation on site.
Conduct site inspections and monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved plans, standards, and project requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, subcontractors, and workers regarding electrical installation requirements and procedures.
Ensure that electrical works are executed according to approved design drawings, construction plans, Philippine Electrical Code, and applicable industry standards.
Identify site issues, design conflicts, and installation concerns; coordinate with the Project Manager and Engineering Team for proper resolution.
Prepare technical reports, site inspection reports, progress updates, and documentation of electrical works completed.
Assist in reviewing material submittals, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Monitor the quality of installed electrical materials, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet approved specifications.
Perform quantity checking and verification of electrical materials, equipment, and installed works.
Coordinate with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Fire Protection, Architectural, and Civil teams to prevent installation conflicts.
Assist in the preparation and review of Request for Approval (RFA), Technical Queries (TQ), and other technical documentation required for project implementation.
Monitor and ensure proper installation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, auxiliary systems, and other ELV/electrical systems.
Support QA/QC activities by conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with approved installation methods and quality standards.
Assist in preparing redline drawings and updating as-built documentation based on actual site conditions.
Participate in testing and commissioning activities of electrical systems and ensure proper recording of test results and corrective actions.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and provide technical recommendations for system improvement.
Prepare and maintain technical records including test reports, inspection reports, equipment manuals, and project documentation.
Support project turnover activities by ensuring completion of required electrical documents, as-built plans, and technical requirements.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures during electrical installation and inspection activities.
