Job Summary:
The Electronics Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic components and systems, particularly printed circuit boards (PCB). The role ensures that all electronic equipment and devices are functioning efficiently and safely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment and PCB-related issues
- Repair and replace defective electronic components and circuit boards
- Perform preventive maintenance on electronic systems and devices
- Conduct testing and calibration of equipment after repair
- Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Prepare service reports and document all repair activities
- Coordinate with the Service Advisor or Supervisor regarding repair status and findings
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field
- With background in electronics and PCB repair
- Experience in troubleshooting electronic devices is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical manuals
- Detail-oriented and with good problem-solving skills
- Willing to be trained and work under minimal supervision
