Job summary

Waymaker Technologies Corp. in Angeles, Philippines, is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our on-site service team for water treatment projects.

You will handle electrical and mechanical systems, install and wire control panels, and support commissioning and maintenance activities. Ideal candidates have hands-on electromechanical training, PLC knowledge, and the ability to read schematics (P&IDs).

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical course.
• Hands-on experience in control panel wiring and electrical installation.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, PLC I/O, basic PLC programming, troubleshooting, and control logic.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, switches, and control devices.
• Experience in mechanical installation of pumps, motors, valves, piping, and related equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical control circuits, motors, VFDs, and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in industrial environments.
• Hands-on, reliable, safety-conscious, problem-solving, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform control panel wiring, electrical installation, and troubleshooting.
• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation components.
• Perform installation and alignment of pumps, motors, valves, piping, and mechanical auxiliaries.
• Assist in the assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning of water treatment systems.
• Perform PLC-related installation, basic programming, troubleshooting, and I/O checking.
• Troubleshoot control circuits, sensors, instruments, motors, VFDs, and other electrical equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, control schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
• Conduct equipment testing, commissioning, and basic instrumentation checks.
• Provide technical support during site installation, commissioning, and service activities.
