Job summary

Cixin Precision Metal Products in Pasig, Philippines, is looking for a skilled Factory Electrician to support our electrical installation and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires inspecting electrical systems, diagnosing faults, recording maintenance actions, and ensuring safety standards are met. You will also document fault symptoms, tests, and replacements, and contribute to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Master Electrician, Electrical Engineer or Mechatronics.
• At least 5 years as Factory Electrician.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical equipment such as power distribution cabinets, switches, sockets, lamps, motors, and circuits.
• Conduct regular inspections on electrical equipment, circuits, and distribution boxes for hazards.
• Record installation, maintenance, and repair information including model, fault symptoms, handling methods, and replacements.
• Submit regular operation reports on the electrical system and provide improvement suggestions.
• Performs other duties deemed necessary.

Job Description

Install various types of electrical equipment, such as power distribution cabinets, switches, sockets, lamps, motors, and electrical circuits (including cables and wires). Ensure the company has access to electricity and gas supply, as well as the safety of electricity and gas usage.

Conduct regular inspections on the operating status of electrical equipment, circuits, and distribution boxes. Check for potential hazards such as overheating, abnormal noise, looseness, and electric leakage.

After receiving a fault repair request, quickly identify the cause of electrical faults (e.g., short circuit, open circuit, equipment damage) and take effective maintenance measures to eliminate the faults. After maintenance, test the equipment to ensure it resumes normal operation and complies with safety standards. Perform maintenance work on electrical equipment, such as cleaning, lubrication, and fastening, and promptly replace aging or damaged components (e.g., fuses, contactors, wires).

Record the installation, maintenance, and repair information of electrical equipment, including details such as equipment model, fault symptoms, handling methods, and replaced components. Submit regular operation reports on the electrical system, feedback on equipment status and existing problems, and put forward improvement suggestions.

Performs other duties deemed necessary.

Job Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATION

• Graduate of Master Electrician, Electrical Engineer or Mechatronics
• With at least 5 years working experience as Factory Electrician
• With good communication and written skills

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Familiar with the electrical installation system of factories and the needs for maintenance and repair
• Possess proficient practical skills, such as circuit connection, equipment installation, operation of tools like multimeters/megohmmeters, and fault diagnosis techniques
• Understand electrical safety standards and specifications, and be familiar with electric shock first-aid methods as well as prevention and handling measures for electrical incident problems, fires, etc.
