Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and diagnose problems using appropriate testing devices.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine electrical layouts.
• Ensure all electrical work meets national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including contractors, engineers, and other electricians.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical service calls.
• Maintain and repair electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, and electrical panels.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Provide training and mentorship to apprentice electricians when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficient in using electrical testing devices (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments.
• Valid electrician’s license and/or certification (as required by local regulations).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in both residential and commercial electrical work.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., solar panels) is a plus.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment.
