Tan Yan Kee Foundation, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking an electrician skilled in installing and repairing electrical conduits, control panels, lighting, and distribution systems.
You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards across projects. The role requires ability to read blueprints and schematics, work in confined spaces, and collaborate with supervisors and clients.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit, wiring, control panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
Perform routine maintenance on electrical machinery, equipment, and distribution panels to prevent system failures and ensure operational efficiency
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes) to locate and repair the root cause of electrical faults
Interpret architectural blueprints, single-line diagrams, and technical schematics to properly lay out wiring paths and electrical control systems
Ensure all installations and repairs comply strictly with local regulations and safety standards (e.g., National Electrical Code / Philippine Electrical Code)
Advanced understanding of electrical systems, grounding methods, voltage drops, and motor controls
Normal color perception to safely identify and distinguish color-coded electrical wiring
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg), bend, stoop, climb ladders/scaffolding, and work in tight or confined spaces
Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot complex circuitry safely and accurately
Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients
