Job summary

Helix Mining and Development Corporation is seeking a skilled professional to ensure continuous operational efficiency through maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in Gumaca, Philippines.

The successful candidate will conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment testing while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. This role is critical in minimizing downtime and enhancing operational productivity.

Responsibilities

• Safely conduct preventive maintenance to prevent unplanned shutdown.
• Conduct of routine inspection, monitoring and recording.
• Testing of equipment activities.
• Inspection and diagnostic checking of electrical parameters.
• Perform corrective maintenance activities on electrical, instrumentation and automation systems and its auxiliary components.
• Repair and replacement of damaged parts and equipment which includes cabling and piping.
• Configuration and parameterization of electrical instrumentation and automation drives.
• Immediate identification of fault cause and problems to avoid prolonged electrical shutdown.
• Evaluation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and instruments.
• Interpret and implement appropriate action for machine faults and alarms.
• Modification and implementation of improvement.
• Commission of newly installed equipment and electrical, instrumentation and automation devices.
