Job summary

Jinyi Import & Export Trading Co., Inc. is seeking an on-site electrical technician to install and diagnose electrical systems on vehicles and agricultural equipment in Davao City, Philippines.

You will interact with customers to understand issues, propose solutions, and complete repairs to wiring, immobilizer, and alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair electrical systems on vehicles and agricultural equipment.
• Ability to gather information from customers about issues and propose solutions.
• Hands-on experience with wiring, immobilizer, and alarm systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install new vehicle wiring systems and troubleshoot electrical components.
• Diagnose electrical issues and propose a repair plan with estimated time and cost.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring and electrical components on vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Service electrical automotive parts and agricultural machinery systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and document job reports.

About the role

This role involves installing, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electrical systems on vehicles and agricultural equipment. You will work with customers to understand electrical issues, propose solutions, and complete repairs to wiring, immobilizer, and alarm systems.

Key responsibilities

• Installing new vehicle wiring systems
• Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems
• Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system
• Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action
• Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs
• Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems

About you

• High School Diploma
• Apprenticeship or relevant hands‑on experience of 1-4 years in the field
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electronic systems in heavy machinery
• Completion of a vocational or technical training program in heavy equipment or automotive technology is an advantage
