Job summary

Leighton Asia Limited seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support project commercial and cost management activities in Makati City. The role focuses on managing costs, evaluating contracts, monitoring budgets, and ensuring projects meet financial targets.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, commercially minded, and experienced in collaborating with project teams, engineers, procurement, and construction professionals to deliver cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, construction management, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 4+ years in quantity surveying, cost management, or contract administration.
• Experience with budgets, contracts, procurement, and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
• Monitor expenditures and cost variances.
• Review and administer contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
• Prepare cost reports and provide management recommendations.
• Evaluate quotations and support procurement processes.
• Manage contract variations, claims, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company policies.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Assess contractor and supplier claims and certify progress payments.
