Job summary

Aboitiz Foods is seeking a Maintenance Specialist - Electrical (Fixed Term) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on farm electrical systems, process controllers, and equipment to ensure reliable operation and long service life.

The role requires a BS Electrical Engineering or BS Electronics & Communications Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, on-call duties, and adherence to safety, 5S and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Graduated with BS Electrical Engineering or BS Electronics & Communications Engineering.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation technology; electrical/electronics circuit design, troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on farm electrical systems and equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and locate causes of breakdowns.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, and code compliance.
• Test circuits and continuity using appropriate instruments.
• Install ground leads and power cables to equipment.
• Route conduits and pull wires between boxes.
• Remain on-call to maintain electrical systems.
• Attend to repairs at multiple farms (Nucleus, Farm 2–5).
• Adhere to 5S and ISO 9001:200 standards.
• Suggest KAIZEN improvements as part of quality initiatives.
