Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance activities for the grid's electrical components. You will ensure reliable plant operation, supervise technicians, and support outage planning and safety procedures.

Requirements include a Electrical Engineering degree, valid license, and 2+ years in an industrial setting, preferably hydro. Knowledge of grid and electrical codes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Must be a licensed Electrical Engineer.
• At least two (2) years of related experience in electrical facilities in an industrial setting (preferably hydro/power).
• Knowledge of Philippine Grid Code and Philippine Electrical and Mechanical Code.
• Registered Master Electrician is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical maintenance activities to ensure efficient, reliable plant operation.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and substation equipment.
• Supervise electricians during inspections and repairs, ensuring safety and quality.
• Support protection relay testing to maintain system reliability.
• Coordinate with operations during planned outages to optimize maintenance.
