Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect electrical and mechanical equipment for safe operation.
• Perform routine condition monitoring and basic diagnostic measurements.
• Inspect production and utility equipment to identify issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Report findings and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for actions.
• Provide technical support and data-based recommendations for repairs and enhancements.
• Monitor safety devices and ensure proper electrical system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, prioritization, and resource planning.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues as required.
• Coordinate parts identification and inventory needs with relevant teams.

Job Summary:

Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible to ensure the safety and efficient operation of the equipment and to ensure safety of the personnel that given the responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and inspect electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

2. Perform routine condition monitoring and basic diagnostic measurements to assess equipment performance.

3. Conduct regular inspections of production and utility equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

4. Report findings and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for corrective actions and improvements.

5. Provide technical support and data-based recommendations for repairs, replacements, and system enhancements.

6. Monitor the condition of safety devices and ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.

7. Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

8. Support coordination of maintenance activities, including work prioritization and resource planning.

9. Respond to emergency maintenance issues as required.

10. Coordinate with relevant teams for parts identification and inventory availability.

11. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment.

12. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and operational standards.

13. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred.

2. 1–2 years of experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, or related technical roles.

Skills and Competencies

1. Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and control circuits.

2. Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools (e.g., insulation testers, clamp meters, temperature scanners).

3. Understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

4. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical schematics.

5. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with monitoring or maintenance software.

6. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

7. Ability to support equipment reliability and minimize downtime through preventive and corrective actions.
