Job summary

Stone of David Corporation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead maintenance and ensure reliability of complex electrical systems at our Central/North Luzon facilities. This role requires hands-on supervision, troubleshooting, and coordination with contractors to deliver safe, compliant results.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, a valid PE license, 5+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with FDAS and fire suppression systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer registered with the Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines.
  • Minimum five years of experience in electrical design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Willing to be assigned in Central/North Luzon.
  • Experience in site supervision, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Experience coordinating with contractors and service providers.
  • Semiconductor or electronic plant experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, generators, transformers, switchgear, and motor control systems.
  • Preventive maintenance planning and execution
  • Familiarity with Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and clean agent fire suppression systems (or equivalent)
  • Ability to implement effective corrective actions.
  • Reading and interpreting single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards (e.g., Philippine Electrical Code and relevant local regulations).
  • With Safety Officer or HIRAC certification.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and risk control measures.
  • Familiarity with lockout and tagout procedures.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in supervising on site electrical works.
  • Ability to coordinate testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work closely with contractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Clear technical communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and professional discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring systems are restored to full functionality promptly.
  • Evaluate the performance of electrical systems and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system installations, and repairs.
  • Oversee electrical projects from conception through to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
