Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a senior electrical engineer to design vehicle electrical schematics, wiring harness layouts, and distribution systems using CAD tools.
You will develop powertrain components including traction inverters, onboard chargers, and DC-DC converters, and integrate the BMS to optimize safety and range.
Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, or Altium Designer.
Electrical Architecture & Wiring: Design vehicle electrical schematics, wiring harness layouts, and distribution systems using CAD tools.
Power Electronics Design: Develop and optimize essential powertrain components including traction inverters (DC-AC), onboard chargers, and DC-DC converters.
Battery Management Systems (BMS): Integrate and program the BMS to control cell balancing, monitor state of charge, ensure thermal safety, and maximize vehicle range.
Component Testing & Diagnostics: Build prototypes and perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to troubleshoot grounding, overheating, or electrical faults.
Compliance & Safety Standards: Ensure all electrical designs comply with automotive functional safety standards (such as ISO 26262) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline.
Technical Software: Proficiency with simulation and modeling software like MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, or Altium Designer.
Core Expertise: Solid understanding of high-voltage safety, electric motors, lithium-ion battery chemistry, and automotive data networks (CAN, LIN, or Ethernet).
