The Electrical Engineer will design, implement, and supervise electrical systems and infrastructure for residential purposes. The role ensures that all electrical work complies with local regulations, project standards, safety protocols, and the company's quality requirements. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with architects, civil and mechanical engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery from planning to handover.
- Design, review, and optimize electrical systems (power, lighting, communication, fire alarm, and security) for all real estate development projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical input for new developments during the planning and design stages.
- Prepare, review, and approve electrical plans, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Conduct technical evaluations and due diligence on electrical contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with national and local codes (e.g., PEC, NEC), safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Supervise and monitor site installation work, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications.
- Participate in the commissioning of electrical systems and troubleshoot any design or installation issues.
- Provide technical support for permits, approvals, and inspections from utility providers and government agencies.
- Prepare project status reports and recommend solutions for delays or problems.
- Assist in evaluating new technologies, sustainable solutions, and energy-efficient designs for integration into developments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate development, construction, or consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit MEP) and MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with Philippine Electrical Code, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Solid understanding of project management processes and construction site operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
